When duplicate gets marked, mail notification is misleading

I just received an e-mail message about bug 119384 that began:

** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 95419
   Record dependencies between bugs
------------

This suggests that the bug was a duplicate before I marked it as a duplicate, but it wasn't.

Better would be something like:

*** This report has been marked as a duplicate of bug 95419
    "Record dependencies between bugs"
    https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/95419
------------

It's even worse when the bug report was already a duplicate, and it's changed to be a duplicate of a different bug report:
------------
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 93410 ***
    https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/93410

** This bug is no longer a duplicate of bug 211680
   Not obvious why karma decreases

** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 93410
   Explain better why karma goes down
------------

Again, it would be better without the first section:

    "Not obvious why karma decreases"
    https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/211680

** It's now a duplicate of bug 93410 instead
    "Explain better why karma goes down"
    https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/93410
