Bug Description

This is similar to bug 74569, but I'm opening a new report as that one was already fixed.

Nicolas was added to the team at the same time than I was (2008-04-04) but he's join date goes back to when he applied to the team.

Unfortunately, the fix for bug 74569 will only have effect on memberships proposed after it has landed. That's why the date of your memberhip's start is correct but Nicolas' is not.

My date is correct because I applied one minute before being accepted.
Nicolas applied around November 2007, which is a long time after bug 74569 was marked as fixed (February 1st)

I guess you mean it's a long time before the bug was fixed, right?
That's the reason why Nicolas' membership has the wrong date.

No, I mean after, it was fixed on February 1st 2007, according to https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/launchpad/+bug/74569/+activity

Oops, I guess I confused that bug with another one I fixed recently. I'll investigate this further to see what went wrong.

We may not be able to fix existing data, and it may be complex to fix for other people experiencing the problem - our data model needs review, and there are some larger questions like 'should we allow showing dates outside of launchpads knowledge, so that teams migrating to LP can have accurate data shown'.
