Bug Description

Occasionally we need to take some text written in a MoinMoin wiki and display it as text. Using the raw text of the wiki page isn't good enough, because it contains stuff that doesn't make sense outside a wiki (like links, macros, comments, etc)

We need a good transformation utility from moin raw text to plain text document.

A use case for this would be the EmailInterface doc you get when you send an email to <email address hidden>

If we source this from moin, there is a built-in converter: action=forma&format=text/plain

e.g.

http://moinmo.in/MoinMoinWiki?action=format&format=text/plain

~mpt suggests that one thing we should probably do is not {{{ }}}.

Maybe a better solution would be to slightly indent blocks of text?
