Bug Description

Recent announcements might be useful on Launchpad's front page, as a suggestion that Launchpad is humming with activity. But I doubt there's a use case for a separate page listing them all.

This page needs to be deleted as suggested by mpt or converted to UI 3.0, as it was not included in the work for bug 414836.
We do need to bear in mind there has long been an RSS feed for this page and take that into consideration.
