Successfully uploaded to PPA, but no compile

Ok, it's now appeared as queued for building.

It's taking many minutes (5+) to get from a completed upload to showing anywhere, during which time you've no idea what's happening or whether things have worked. Some UI feedback would be nice, or a quicker turn-around with regards to a successful load / queue ... ???

It updates every ~20 minutes. Presumably this will be decreased later (I think the ubuntu archive is every 5, or something)

You just need a little patience, i'm afraid.

So how about having this information somewhere obvious on the front-screens so people don't have to log bugs to find out ??

Gareth, you should have got a Accept/Reject email notification about your upload within 5 minutes after dput procedure is finished, the source record should show up in the UI within 20 minutes and finally builds for the source in question would take more 15 minutes (worst case).

That's how the system works now, please file a specific bug for anything not matching the steps above or requesting any other feature that you think will help us to mitigate this unpleasant waiting period.

I'm considering this bug closed as 'invalid' since it doesn't provide proper description of what is the problem neither indications about how to solve it.
