Hi Tim. I QAed this on staging and verified that the statuses where updated after the XMLRPC callback. The changed methods are called by prod mailman to prod xmlrpc to proc webapp--qastaging is not in the loop.

Combination of this patch and clustering the xmlrpc service - all good now.
