Bug Description
When edge is updating, you occasionally get http 503 and 504 from the apache front end. This isn't very slick :-)
As we want to be able to update production several times a day if necessary, this need to be fixed.

This may be a matter of a simple RT for the deployment process to
inform the load balancer to avoid down machines prior to taking them
down.
