missing softlinks for shipit and login

Bug Description

The softlinks in lib/canonical to sourcecode/shipit and sourcecode/canonical-identity-provider (as signon) are missing in the current rollout.

This broke login.launchpad.net and shipit.launchpad.net

Edge updates are halted until this issue is fixed & landed - don't want to overwrite the cowboy :-)

These symlinks were removed by a release-critical landing:

We are obviously missing some fairly important tests as buildbot says everything is green.

The root cause of this issue is quite bothersome. The link removal not only passed the test suite, but also the developer, and the release-critical review.

How did it get past the test suite?

It pass the test suites because if we don't find the tests, we don't run them :-)
