Trying to look to the merge proposals details makes edge and staging platforms of lp to timeout

Bug Description

Where the bug has triaggered:

When you try to load this sites, a oops error is shown instead of the merge proposal.

Note: Besides this has been reported on https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/launchpad-code/+bug/344041 , I am on the edge platform, now running r8972, from 2009-07-28 18:58:00, as shown in http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~launchpad-pqm/launchpad/stable/revision/8972 , and the fix for that ticket had been released on 2009-07-02, so I guess there is another bug involved.

Hi Álvaro,

Bug 344041 is about Unicode errors, and is not related to the problem you see here. This is a duplicate of bug 401554, and I'm marking as such, you can follow what's being done there.

Thanks for explaing that, I am a newbie on launchpad.

By the way, I have seen people at lp giving more details on bugs from the web interface. Is there any "trick" to gather them? or those must be given by the UI?
