Bug Description

Binary package hint: ark

Kubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex, 64 bits

First of all, I've already installed rar, unrar and unrar-free packages.

The problem ocurred when trying to extrect the files in http://rapidshare.com/files/145858466/Linux_Maxima_Seguridad.rar . Ark doesn't request the archive password (Gil_lazo-X), and doens't report error. It just doesn't do anything.

Rar password support implemented in KDE 4.2. The fix has been released with the KDE 4.2 beta2 packages for Jaunty. (Also through the Intrepid packages from the kubuntu-experimental ppa)

I'm getting this again on Kubuntu 10.04.

Can't extract any protected rar with ark, even though runnind unrar from the command line works great.
