Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdepim

$ kmail --version
Qt: 4.4.0
KDE: 4.00.98 (KDE 4.0.98 (4.1 RC1))
KMail: 1.10.0

if messages are left in the outbox, and user tries to resend them using another smtp account, with "Send queue messages via", kmail doesnt do anything.
Even pushing "Send queue messages" will not use the recently selected account, but the one that was set for that email.

Confirmed, using ' Send queue via' doesn't work where as the normal 'Send queue messages' does.

According to the bug comments upstream, this functionality works in the prerelease versions of KDE 4.3.
Since that's the case, I will be marking this bug as "Fix Committed". The bug will be marked fix released and will be closed once KDE 4.3 snapshots enter the development version of Kubuntu 9.10 next month.

Unfortunately, since we don't know what exactly fixed the problem, it will be unlikely that we will be able to apply fixes to our packages for Kubuntu 9.04.

Thanks so much for keeping in touch.
I read the upstream bug too, and was going to mention here it too.

About the fix, yeah its suck just a tiny bit. I've leaved without it for half an here, I guess I can wait one more month until toolchain and alpha test koala.

The fix has been released to the development version of Kubuntu 9.10. Beta packages for jaunty will be made available in a PPA soon.
