Bounding box does not include long miters

Bug Description

The bounding box seems to be a little too small for a
star with thick borders and angled corners. Therefore,
exports are truncated just a bit.

which produced
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Verdastelo.png

Desired behavior would be to have it bound just outside
of the line. I am on a WinXP system.

verified w/ current CVS on win32.

I understand why the bounding box is where it is, but it
does cause problems with exporting selection as demonstrated
here

Calculating correct bbox for stroked paths is very very
expensive. It's difficult to implement and will slow the
program down a lot. I can only hope Cairo will be able to
help this somewhat.

This bug is still present in Inkscape 0.46+devel r22498 (OS X 10.5.8).

although it is expensive to calculate the bbox precisely, it is necessary for png export. And since it is not an interactive thing that has to be done 1000 times, I think it is not a big issue to request extra precision for bitmap exporting.
Since 9307 the RENDERING_BBOX type includes strokes.
Fixed bug in r9309.
