Segfault when setting status second time

Bug Description

Using python bindings, when setting indicator status a second time with Indicator.set_status() the application crashes with a segfault in g_type_check_instance_cast (see backtrace).

libappindicator0: 0.0.9-0ubuntu1
python-appindicator: 0.0.9-0ubuntu1
On karmic 64 bit.

Hello application indicators developers. This is to both signal you that Getting things GNOME! now supports appindicate (see its trunk), and that it is affected by this bug.

Your example app.py isn't crashing for me now.

This doesn't crash for me using indicator-application 0.0.13
