Bug Description

Change as many yes-no-dialogs or yes-no-cancel-dialogs to something meaningful as possible. Yes-No choices are very user unfriendly. The user has to read the whole text to be sure which button to select. Many people tend to just select "yes" without reading. Buttons should have meaningful labels which describe what they do.

Maybe best Example: I had to read the yes-no dialog popping up in OpenOffice when saving a file not in ODF at least 3 times before I knew which button to chose. If they would have been labeled e.g. "OpenDocument Text" and "Plain Text" (or ".odt" and ".txt") I would have known without reading and the dialog text would be shorter by 2/3. (This particular case seems to be fixed already https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/54784)

Bug 389876 is unrelated: none of the three programs listed in that bug report use Yes or No.

Having said that, though, there are dozens of different Yes/No alerts in different programs, that will be fixed by different people at different times. So it's not practical to try and track those fixes in a single bug report. matthias, I suggest you report separate bugs for each Yes/No alert you find. Thanks!
