Bug Description

This is a prerequisite to backport gnunet 0.8.0; before considering it, I guess it can be good to see whether there's any problem with libmicrohttpd.

libmicrohttpd3 (0.2.0-1) is in Hardy repos, libmicrohttpd4 (0.3.1-1) is in Intrepid (together with libmicrohttpd3).
In Hardy, the only package that depends on libmicrohttpd3 is gnunet-server, which we want to backport. No conflict should appear between both versions since they use different .so version names.

So is it possible? If yes, we'll request a backport of various gnunet-* packages. Thanks!

Got to mark this one Incomplete. It depends on debhelper 7 which isn't available in hardy. It will require manual source backporting.

Here's a debdiff to get it building on Hardy.

It builds and installs. It is safe to backport as the package has a new library soname, so no regressions are possible.

GNUnet was fixed as an SRU and not a backport. This is unneeded. Marking Invalid.
