show selected user timelines in HOME

Bug Description
when we click on an user, a new column/stream opens and you see that user entire timeline (specially in twitter, where you can only see notices to ppl you also follow).
When you close that column/stream is (still?) keep pulling those notices, but are not shown in the UI.
I would like for those notices to show up in HOME column when user stream/column is closed.

I'd like to implement an option in 3.0 that will allow users to choose whether the messages from transient streams (search, users, lists) will be displayed in the home stream.
