gnome-settings-daemon doesn't work with xinerama (nvidia, amd64)

Bug Description

I have an amd64 system with 2 Nvidia cards (one AGP, one PCI) each with one monitor attached. gnome-settings-daemon works with one display and two separate displays, but enabling Xinerama (with one or two displays) causes it to crash on startup. The assertion "screen != NULL" fails in screen_update, after a parse error starting xrandr manager.

Please let me know if you need more info or if you need me to test anything.

This one is marked a dupe of 197153, however the error message suggests it's failing at a different point. I'm guessing it'll be fixed by the same fix as bug 197153, but if not, please attach a backtrace.
