I can confirm this on an up-to-date Karmic install

$uname -a

$sudo apt-cache policy ntpdate
ntpdate:

Oh yeah, also in upstream Debian (which is where the svn repo came from), if anyone can easily push there too, I'm sure they'd like it. :)

It'd be helpful if the upstream Debian bug report had some tags added to it like: origin-ubuntu, ubuntu-patch and lucid. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Debian/Usertagging for the documentation regarding this.

Thank you for your suggestion Brian. I had already added "origin-ubuntu" & "lucid". I have now added the user tag "ubuntu-patch" as it did not get processed when I originally added user tags to this bug.
