unable to "de-loom" a branch

Bug Description

When I was trying to get started with looms, I had set up the looms incorrectly, so I thought it would be good to nuke it and start from scratch. The best I found was that "combine-thread" may, in the future, clear out the loom when there is only one thread.

I can create a new branch and pull into it. But I have pending changes that I haven't committed because I wanted to split them up into logical patches.

You can now do bzr merge --uncommitted to pull across uncommitted changes, so this is purely cosmetic and pretty rare to need.
