option to notify the number of new messages in popup, rather than one popup per message

Bug Description

Binary package hint: mail-notification

I've upgraded mail-notification to a version (4.0~rc2.dfsg.1-4build1) that uses libnotify popups.

Coming into work on Monday morning I had around 500 mails - this results in an incomprehensible flashing blur of popups on the desktop.

It would be nice if I could set a threshold of new mails, say 3, over which the popups would just tell me how many new mails there are rather than displaying one per message.

Thanks.

Fixed in 5.x, see gconf key: /apps/mail-notification/popups/limit .
PS: Will upload 5.4.dfsg.1 to Debian most probably today.
