--Potentially can result in temporary damage to hardware
--It is really annoying!
|I have, however, have had past dealings with this issue with other Linux distributions have discovered the following through my past dealings with this issue:
--When using Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot":

|Potential solutions tried:

|Any Thoughts?
Thanks for your bug report. A couple users have reported the same problem with their Aspire 5315's, and the master report is bug 579665. I'll mark this report as a duplicate of that bug. Please feel free to edit that bug report/add comments with anything that you wish to add to make it more complete.
