I ran the update manager. I was using earlier alpha. due to install-info error I did a Partial Upgrade. After the partial upgrade I removed the problem package install-info using Synaptics the ran aptitude dist-upgrade. Everything seemed to be fine but after next restart I received a notification to report this bug and I reported it.
