Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver
Put a program launcher icon slightly off-screen. I put them at the top of a 2nd, left screen and my first, right screen has the main desktop toolbar at the bottom.
Lock the desktop using the screen-lock icon on the toolbar.
Click on the sliver of icon showing at the screen's edge.
The program runs.
Hardy. ATI driver. I've not checked newer distros.
(If, through browser keyboard glitch, this bug is double-reported, whack one of 'em. :) )

Reassigning to compiz as that seems to be the likely problem.
