fixed in barry 0.15-1ubuntu3:

  * Don't build opensync-plugin-barry-dbg and opensync-plugin-barry-dbg,
    incompatible with the opensync version in maverick.

the alternative would be to downgrade to opensync to (< 0.30), and then rebuild/downgrade the following packages too:

osynctool
libopensync-plugin-syncml
libopensync-plugin-file
libopensync-plugin-evolution2
libopensync-plugin-xmlformat
libopensync-plugin-vformat

libopensync-plugin-syncml cannot be downgraded, as current libsyncml does not work with it, so I am afraid it will have to be removed

libopensync-plugin-xmlformat and libopensync-plugin-vformat are shipped as part of opensync in 0.22, so they can be removed in this case.
