Bug Description

The trash has too many names, it should only have one!

In the Launcher, the 'Trash' is called the 'Rubbish Bin'. However when you open the 'Rubbish Bin' (Nautilus) the user is presented with the option to 'Empty Wastebasket'. Right clicking on any file also give the user the option to “Move to Wastebasket”.

Desired resolution:

Rename the “Rubbish Bin” (UK english local) or “Trash” (US english local) to “Wastebasket”. This should be the easiest way we can make our termonology consistent.

Please lets not go through this again.

For English (UK) Locale, we chose to use "Rubbish Bin". This should be consistently used through the entire interface. For other locales knock yourself out with whatever other terminology you like, but it should be kept consistent.

Here's an example of how this is still not fixed (using en_DK locale):
Unity launcher 'tooltip' says "Rubbish Bin", the context menu says "Empty Trash..." and Nautilus calls it "Wastebasket".

@Sune: the "Empty Trash" is probably because it was not translated to en_DK yet (it is using the en_US text). But the other two forms are really a consistency problem.

As far as the UK English translation is Nautilus and Unity is concerned, this is now fixed in the natty-proposed repository.

I am only seeing references to "Rubbish Bin" in current Oneiric for the en_GB locale. As i believe this bug only concerns en_GB locale, I am therefore I am marking this Fix Released. If i am mistaken, please identify exactly where references to "Trash" are.

Thanks.
