Compiz lags with firefox

Bug Description

When firefox is running maximized compiz lags. For example when firefox window is maximized and I click on the place/applications/system menus the appearing/disappearing of the menu delays (sth like slow motion). Furthermore, when maximising or minimizing firefox windows I face similar problems (animation is not as smooth as it should).
System: ubuntu 10.10 beta amd64 all updates installed till now

This bug did not have a package associated with it, which is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper developers.
