Do you only have the Lexmark S600 or also a Lexmark 3400?
Are these printers inkjet or laser printers?
How are your printer(s) connected? Via USB, network, ...? Is a USB-to-parallel adapeter used?
Does "lsusb" list entries for all your printers which you are using via USB?
Can you install the "ia64-libs" package and try to install and run the manufacturer- supplied drivers again?
Note also that for using apport-bug you have to supply the name of a binary package and not of a source package. For system- config- printer it is system- config- printer- common. Note also that this bug is not a problem of system- config- printer.
