Bug Description

I've installed Maverick on a Dell Mini 10. Install completes and computer boots. After BIOS a flashing cursor is displayed in the left-hand corner. It does not proceed any further. After rebooting I held the "SHIFT" down to see GRUB message which displayed "GRUB Loading" and would not proceed any further. Installed 10.04 "side-by-side" and was given the option to boot into either at which point both 10.04 and 10.10 both boot successfully.

I have these exact symptoms. I'm running Maverick and this started about a week ago after an update. Today I discovered by chance that if I disconnect my USB keyboard before booting, the grub menu appears. I can then connect the keyboard and boot like normal. I've tried it several times with and without the keyboard connected and it's repeatable every time. This has never been a problem before so I don't think it's likely to be a hardware problem.
