This is not a paper cut: /wiki.ubuntu. com/PaperCut
"Put briefly, a paper cut is a trivially fixable usability bug that the average user would encounter in default installation of Ubuntu or Kubuntu Desktop Edition." – as defined on https:/
But rather a feature request for existing ISO mounting applications like Gmount-iso.
To help you in the meantime: ubuntuforums. org/showthread. php?t=712013
"Install the package mdf2iso, convert the mdf file to iso:
mdf2iso file.mdf file.iso
and then use the iso file as usual."
