Binary package hint: plasma-
See the attached screenshot. With Konqueror we don't gain screen real estate due to the icon still causing vertical space to be consumed.

Unfortunately it hasn't received any feedback. I talked to one of the KHTML/Konqueror developer about the patch but he was not thrilled by the idea, as he was afraid of loosing horizontal space.
