Sync modemmanager 0.4+git.20100624t180933.6e79d15-1 (main) from Debian unstable (main)

Please add an explanation why the Ubuntu delta can be dropped in your future sync requests. The sync request for this bug should state that 01-dont-probe-vt.patch can be dropped, because it was accepted upstream. The other changes made in Ubuntu are not important.
