On Dell Inspiron 1525 (linux only out of the box).

This is essentially the same problem as bug #562948 with another OpenOffice.org extension. In that bug I've suggested and kind of prototyped an update-manager quirk to do the same workaround mentioned automatically until OOo 3.3 with proper fix is released for the next LTS -> LTS upgrade. However, there hasn't been review/action from update-manager developers yet on it, even though 10.04.1 is near (when the upgrade from 8.04 LTS will be offered to the masses).
