Bug Description

my Sager 5791 laptop has been able to suspend/resume without problems from Hardy through Karmic. With a clean install of Lucid, suspend no longer works. i choose "suspend" from the menu, the screen goes black for a few seconds, then the password dialog reappears. The behavior is the same whether or not the NVida binary driver is installed - this report was generated using the open source video driver.

here's the contents of /var/log/messages when i try to suspend:

it appears that a recent kernel upgrade, (2.6.32.-24) fixed the problem - suspend to ram now works ifne.
