Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

In Calc, spanish version, if you choose insert a function, categoria: Todos (All), you can view repeated names, because some functions have been translated with the same name. If you choose a repeat function, the program only use the first.

Examples: Buscar (3 times), BDDESVEST (2 times), BDDESVESTP (2 times), REEMPLAZAR (2 times)

The first "Buscar" is ok (categorie Hoja de cálculo), other (categorie Texto) really is "Encontrar" and the other (categorie Texto too) is "HALLAR" in the correct OpenOffice.org Calc.

In the OpenOffice 3.1 MS Windows Version, in the help for "Encontrar" I have seen that the text example is "BUSCAR(...)" it's logical the error.

The error is in original OpenOffice.org, the bug is in:
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=109407

Now you can install the last version manually, or you can work with the original english language changing the environment variable:
http://user.services.openoffice.org/es/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=2666
in a terminal write:
export LANG=C;oocalc

This bug has been already fixed in original OpenOffice.org package from Jun 14. Will it be fixed in Ubuntu? For me, isn't suitable to manually install OpenOffice.org, we have near 120 PC's with Lucid. Change environment variable isn't a good solution for my internal clients; they have been using OpenOffice about 2 years in Spanish, They can't learn again ALL the functions in Calc, they're not bilingual people.

Guillermo Molleda, does this occur for you in LibreOffice? If using Lucid or Maverick feel free to type at the Terminal:
