I seem to get:
Setting up libc6 (2.11.1-0ubuntu7) ... dpkg/info/ libc6.postinst: 328: cannot create /etc/ld.so.conf: Is a directory
tail: error reading `/etc/ld.so.conf': Is a directory
/var/lib/
I think this could be because the HP Value Add software for my DL/360 server has created htis directory. I've renamed this folder to something else and the upgrade is proceeding.
