Bug Description

While using bluetooth i'am unable to set the default keyboard layout. My default keyboard-layout is set to DE. All keyboards connected to USB or PS2 uses this default layout.

My Dinovo edge connected via bluetooth uses the us-layout. thats confusing, cause if a bluetooth and a usb device is connected at the same time uses different keyboard-layouts.

How to set the default layout for bluetooth - keyboards?

affects: ubuntu → gnome-control-center (Ubuntu)

I'am setup 10.04 (Kubuntu/Ubuntu current beta release). Both handled the Logitech-Dongle the same way - as a simple USB-Keyboard without any BT-functionality. So i connected a seperate BT-Dongle and disconnect the Logitech on. After pairing the Keyboard, I suffer the same problem again, the keyboard uses the wrong layout (en instead of de) (Both versions).

Interesting: while the BT-Keyboard was connected and uses the wrong layout, I connected my "emergency"-USB-Keyboard (after the update to 10.04 I know why I need one ;) ) and suddenly both keyboards uses the correct layout. After I disconnect the USB-Keyboard, it's persist. It seams there is a rule, who apply the standard layout but these aren't fired if a bt-keyboard is "connected"
