Bug Description

At some point, after opening enough applications utilizing sound subsystem (in my case ~10 were sufficient), media applications starts reporting inability to output sound.
Sound preferences dialog becomes unusable at that point, probably due to missing slider in applications tab.

Pay attention that modern browsers, opens separate processes for each tab and media plugin, so bug is pretty critical.
