Bug Description
My laptop: HP 2020EL
My soundcard: 00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio Controller (rev 03)
In order sound works properly, both on speakers and headphones, I need to add following configuration lines to alsa-base.conf:
options snd-hda-intel enable_msi=1
options snd-hda-intel model=dell-m4-1
Notice that I needed to add above configuration lines even in previously 9.04 ubuntu release, in order to have my sound perfectly working. Auto-configuration for my soundcard is still not working...
