Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-nouveau

When I switch to another VT I see black screen and flickering text-cursor. Text typing is work, but there is no request for password.

I don't think this is a nouveau bug, since you can type at the VT you switch to, there just isn't a login prompt. Moving to the util-linux package, which I think is responsible for providing the prompts. It may also be a problem with plymouth.

Yes, It's looks likely plymouth bug.
Yestarday, after install plymouth-text package, I reboot and see completly worked VT. But, after I reboot second time, I again get problem from bug report.

I don't think this is a Plymouth bug or a util-linux bug - it sounds like getty simply isn't running at the point that the user VT switches.

Which VTs did you try and switch to? When you switch back to X's VT, you see the X server again?

Could you provide the output of "initctl list" for me

It looks like the getty processes are running.

If you press ENTER after Alt+F1, do you see the login: screen?

Until kdm started tty1 have start log, but after kdm starts all VT cleared, as I describe before.

I test this issue with clear Kubuntu Lucid RC installation - looks like fixed.
