Bug Description

Binary package hint: gdm

1. Log into Lucid
2. Note that you are using the face browser as expected
3. Go System -> Administration -> Login Screen
4. Note that the "show list of users" checkbox is unchecked, though you just logged in with the list

Considering that this "feature" is
1. clutter
2. no longer considered an issue by the original requesters
3. a source of bugs

I think we should we should roll back this change. However, if simply fixing it is easier, I would support that as well.

Just a little note for Rick Spencer

Considering that this "feature" is
1. clutter <- Not if your a corporate user/administrator who needs this option
2. no longer considered an issue by the original requesters <- https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdm/+bug/445123 Try again, lots people still jumping up and down about this.
3. a source of bugs <- bugs can be fixed.

Having a release designed for corporate style use (IE LTS) without the option to have a standard username/password login system is a massive pain to work with.

Most corporate security policies forbid having a setup as show by the 'face browser'
