Bug Description
I have samsung multifunction device (SCX 4521) and lsubs says, that samsung device is connected, but scanimage -L says, that no scanners found. I'm using Samsung Unified Driver (i have tried all versions, both the packages and downloaded directly from author's site) and author of this driver says, that it could be some problem with customized USB libraries in ubuntu 9.10 (same configuration works on debian). I have no idea what logs could i paste here, so pleas tell me. I'm using ubuntu 9.10.

Also when i tried to scan image manually (scanimage -d smfp:libusb: 003:002) segmentation fault occurs. Author of SamsungUnifiedD river says, that problems only occurs on Ubuntu 9.10, and not on Debian, Ubuntu 9.04 and so on.
