kubuntu alpha 3 doesn't boot with external hd in fstab

Bug Description

Fresh install of kubuntu alpha 3 hangs at "waiting for /backup" at boot. /backup is on an external hd. Once mount options set to noauto it boots fine.

Maybe noteworthy: the first partition of this external hard disk has a fat32 partition.

This is expected behavior. If you want the mount to be skipped if it is not present, use the nobootwait option.
