Binary package hint: xserver-
The display was black on when I resumed from suspend-to-ram. I managed to do a proper reboot by pressing the power button followed by return.

Affects both of my Lucid computers as well. The laptop runs the Intel 915GM while the desktop runs NVIDIA.
Also, both will not shut down. It seems to be related.
None of the Karmic versions are affected.
