Bug Description

For my project Deja Dup [1], I have turned on daily exports of the translations of trunk. But for a while now, the Dutch translations [2] have not been included in that export [3]. You can see this in many strings like "deja-dup", "%DATE%", and "USER COMMANDS". I believe this is a bug.

Other translations seem to be fine. It's been like this for a few months.

Very interesting indeed. If you go to https://translations.edge.launchpad.net/deja-dup/trunk/+pots/deja-dup-help you can see that it says that the Dutch translation was last updated on 2009-10-17, yet there are clearly updates in at least December. It seems that entire batch has never had the 'last edited' date updated, and thus it was not exported (it's an optimization in bzr exports to not re-export the same files).

The bug musst be in the code that keeps the PO file last changed date up to date.

Btw, workaround for you is to submit a suggestion and to then discard it: that should update the date and it will be exported to your branch.

We're currently dealing with a backlog (built up over quite a few years) of critical operational issues. For the moment, only features + critical bugs are moving. We hope to be past this by July. If you need things done earlier, please escalate via the stakeholder process.

And this isn't in the current roadmap; a patch would be a great way to move this forward.
