Bug Description

OS: Ubuntu 9.10 (I haven't checked if this exists currently in 10.04).

When QCad is installed via Synaptic, it appears as "QCaD" in Ubuntu's Graphics menu, instead of the correct "QCad".

Ioannis, could you tell us in which language you see this?

Once we know it we can then assign it to the right Ubuntu translation team to look at.

Thanks!

I see it in US English. However in QCAD's About box, the name appears as
QCaD, that's why I had changed the status of this bug report to
"Invalid".

My mistake. I had a look again, and in QCAD's about box the name appears
as "QCad", and thus this bug report is Valid.

My mistake. The bug is VALID.

In Graphics menu, "QCaD" should be "QCad".

Hi Ioannis,

If you are seeing this using an English US locale, you are seeing the original string, not a translation. This is then a mistake in the sources, not in the translations, thus I'm adding the Qcad bug task and marking the one on translations as Invalid.

Thanks.

Thank you for bringing this bug to our attention. However, a paper cut should be a small usability issue, in the default Ubuntu install, that affects many people and is quick and easy to fix. So this bug can't be addressed as part of this project.

- QCAD is not part of the default install , hence not a papercut.
For further information about papercuts criteria, please read https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PaperCut.

Don't worry though, this bug has been marked as "Invalid" only in the papercuts project.

Thanks for the report and your help in making Ubuntu better. This has
been fixed in qcad 2.0.5.0-1+090318-7, which is now in the archive for
Maverick. Please test it and report any additional bugs that you find.
