Failsafe session doesn't work

Bug Description

Binary package hint: xorg

If I select the "Failsafe" session in KDM and try to login, it fails, and I'm back in KDM after a second. This kind of defeats the whole point of having a "failsafe" session.

I'm using Kubuntu 9.10.

taking back my last comment. It is probably an issue with kwin, not with kdm.

I can confirm that too. I have the same issue on 10.04
