Bug Description

i have compiz animations installed. for minimize, i use the airplane effect.

i use cairo dock with the mac osx leopard theme. I modified it further adding launchers and removing others.

the dock works perfect for me except for when i minimize windows, they do not go to the task bar.
the windows do not appear in the dock.

i have tried clicking the checkboxes in the cario dock config screen, next to "only show running apps" and "show only minimized windows".

i would like to do one of two things from here. either 1. make the minimized window fly into the dock as a thumbnail (that is NOT so huge it expands the dock to an undesirable size) or 2. make minimized window fly to the taskbar and not involve the dock in this.

also when i restart my computer, and cairo dock starts up on with the startup applications, i get a black screen in the background instead of the transparent one. i can go into theme manager and reselect my saved theme, then all is fine.

in the theme manager section, when i try to delete a theme, the confirmation window pops up with a glitch.
the bubble only shows the red X and no check mark. and is cut in half. if i press enter on the keyboard, the window closes, but the theme is NOT deleted.

affects: ubuntu → cairo-dock (Ubuntu)

it's available on the Launchpad stable PPA.
Thanks.

YES! this version does not have many of the issues I had seen and found
"half way work arounds" to. However, there is STILL the problem of
minimizing a window in the dock. If you check the box to make a thumbnail of
the minimized window appear in the dock, your icons in the dock become VERY
small. the thumbnail is too large and it just makes everything terrible. I
think for a next revision there should be a GUI section added for more
extensive options for this feature. It is a great idea, similar to MAC dock.
However its current functionality is only half baked. I was able to add the
command cairo-dock -c to startup so that it doesn't glitch out at startup
due the the Open GL being unstable still. and the saving and deleting themes
is fixed.

I wonder if we all send this to at least 5 people if we can start a fire
that will wake the fools on the hill up to who they work for. I think it is
worth a shot and that is why I am sending this to you. Please send it on.

*THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS AND SENATE!!!*

*I am sending this to virtually everybody on my e-mail list and that
includes conservatives, liberals, and everybody in between. Even though we
disagree on a number of issues, I count all of you as friends.. My friend
and neighbor wants to promote a "Congressional Reform Act of 2010". It would
contain eight provisions, all of which would probably be strongly endorsed
by those who drafted the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.*
*
I know many of you will say, "this is impossible". Let me remind you,
Congress has the lowest approval of any entity in Government, now is the
time when Americans will join together to reform Congress - the entity that
represents us.

We need to get a Senator to introduce this bill in the US Senate and a
Representative to introduce a similar bill in the US House. These people
will become American hero's.. *

Thanks,
A Fellow American*
