Looks like you've killed the upgrade process during feeding of mysql ? Did you wait long enough while the process was populating mysql ?

Changed in zabbix (Ubuntu):
status: New → Incomplete

Hi,

During the initial install, my machine crashed..... (power-outage ..)
After reboot, I completely uninstalled Zabbix server, but the prequisites
such as mysql werent uninstalled. I the did a reinstall of the Zabbix
server, and had it installed ok.

Also the web front-end worked ok, but reporting this error...

Thanks and regards!

The mysql error is likely due to a corrupted installation following the crash then. The easiest way to fix it is probably to completely uninstall mysql including the datafiles the reinstall it. The zabbix is just a side effect of the mysql failure I'm reaffecting the report.
Please set the status to 'Invalid' of it's not an issue anymore. Thanks in advance.

affects: zabbix (Ubuntu) → mysql-dfsg-5.1 (Ubuntu)

I'm sorry, my knowledge of zabbix is little.... On other ubuntu
installations it worked as it should, so I consider this indeed closed.
Sorry to have not let you know!

I am having the same problem here, Boban and ifone can you flag this issue as 'having it also'? The bug might get reopened that way.
