Bug Description

Binary package hint: xorg

hello,

I run Kubuntu karmic 9.10 on x86 64 with ecrypts.

A few days ago after a update, kDE was no more able to start after the login while it have blocked the permission to access .ICEautority.

I have change the permission like said by ubuntu team in a post on the web. Anyway after that my KDE start right again but i have strange processus now, it start "startkde" "nautilius desktop" and that i never seen early.

Now i have a errors report from .xsessions.

i will add it.

Best regards

Hi Jonathan,

Was a bug who have modified the permission to access .ICEautority and after have give back permission, the KDE started with others process as by défalut.

From a couple days ago was a big update for Karmic and now it's start again normally without the "startkde" process.

The write policy are back normal too.

Hard to explain what's up early with that but now i can close the bug report since are fixed :P

Thanks for your answer anyway

best regards
