Bug Description

Following is an extract of a help message of "bzr help uncommit":
quote:
Bound branches use the nickname of its master branch unless it is set
locally, in which case binding will update the the local nickname to be
  that of the master.
end_of_quote.

One "the" superfluous. It's nit-picking, but somebody should do it...

Strangely enough there are ten 'the the' occurrences in the bzr source. Maybe a stray search and replace.

Changed in bzr:
status: New → In Progress
importance: Undecided → Low
assignee: nobody → Martin Pool (mbp)

From a programmers view point, 10 'the the' s is indeed trivial. To a user, it says that the help files have not been checked properly. I see that Martin Pool has tagged the bug as trivial and status as in Progress. His last report was a month ago. Are all those "the the" 's going to be left in bzr indefinitely? Or am I expected, as a person who raised the bug report, to take some further action?

OldAl.

Actually he fixed it a month ago (see the "Merged" status on the linked branch), but nobody remembered to update the bug.

'trivial' is meant to mean it's trivial to fix, a good thing for
someone with a few minutes spare to do.

Please do keep raising fit & finish bugs, they do make a difference to
the user experience.
